We’ve noticed a hiccup in that a few people’s uploaded images were not displaying. This was due to an upgrade to the blogging platform, but it’s now fixed! Hooray!

We’ve had the pleasure of having our cool website logo designed by a new marketing company in Perth called Sixes & Sevens. They take all the clever marketing and advertising techniques used by the bigshots, mix them with their own unique creativity & come up with something awesome for us small and medium sized local businesses.

Logos are only one aspect of their business. The also innovate in web design (endorsed by Perth’s own Courtney Murphy) and even get into TV ads and broadcasting. If you’re looking for a spunky makeover or simply to spruce up your business image, I’d strongly recommend checking these guys out.

We are currently in the early stages of establishing the Perth Blogger website.

At the moment we are busily uploading a number of cool themes for you to use on your blogs. There is a particular theme we will be uploading that is perfect for the photographers among you. It’s called AutoFocus – you’ll love it.

What is Perth Blogger.com?

This is the place for writers, authors, journalists, businessmen… basically anyone with an opinion on anything. It is intended to create a little community of bloggers from Perth, Western Australia. It is however, open to the general public as well.

Some people may have a blog already set up elsewhere. That’s fine, you’re welcome to set another one up here as well. If not, you can still “join” in the fun by displaying the Perth Blogger button on your website and link back to the community.

What can I write about?

You can write about your life, your values, your views, your opinions, your hobbies, your passion, and yes – even your business (if you own one!). Ideally, you’ll also write about Perth and what a lovely city it is!

So what’s the catch?

The catch is that you have to keep it legal. NO spam. NO porn (or links to adult sites). NO gambling (or links to online gambling websites). NO copied content (do not copy content you don’t have the right to use). Don’t put other bloggers down or engage in any form of discrimination. Pretty easy really. We want a loving, thriving community.
